Cynthia Ruth Printz, age 82, passed away 5/10/2017 after complications from a stroke at Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital with her family at her side.
She was born on 4/4/1935 in Royal Oak, MI.
Her parents George (Jean) Van Norman moved the family to West Acres in West Bloomfield, MI where she spent her childhood before moving to Birmingham, MI where she married Anthony Printz Jr in 1956.
She then moved to Colorado for a few years while husband Anthony finished his stint in the Army before moving to Troy, MI followed by Southfield, MI where she spent the remainder of her days for some 50+ years.
She retired from Ford Tractor/Ford Motor Co. after working there for 30+ years as an executive secretary.
Dearest wife of Anthony J. Printz Jr., beloved mother to Anthony (Renee) Printz, Timothy Printz, Christopher (Pamela) Printz and Laurie Najm, Mother-in-Law to Marjory Printz and close friends Vicki Fisher and Denise DiPasqua.
Beloved grandmother to Nicole Printz, Kristen Printz and Anthony Printz IV, Noelle Cunliffe, Kelly Printz and Amani Najm.
Also survived by nieces Michelle Lankton and Shari Smith and nephew Daniel Van Norman.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Robert Van Norman.
She enjoyed reading, crosswords, following politics and most importantly spending time with her family.
Memorial Service May 21, 2017 3:00 pm at Troy Assembly of God on 3200 Livernois, Troy, MI.
