David Michael Vincent

David (Dave) Michael Vincent, age 43, of Troy, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 18, 2022, cause has yet to be determined. Dave was born April 26, 1978, in Saginaw, MI, to James Vincent and Connie (Prueter) Vincent. On August 9, 2011, he married his love, Kelly Capen, in Chicago, IL and together they celebrated 12 years of marriage.

Dave enjoyed working on most anything with a motor, from dirt bikes & motorcycles to boats to custom built race cars. He spent much of his time in his garage working on projects while listening to his favorite jam bands. Some of his best times were spent traveling the Upper Peninsula with his family and sharing stories from his college days at NMU.

Dave is survived by his wife, Kelly; sons, Christian Fleischman & Jacob Vincent; daughter, Claire Vincent; mother, Connie Vincent; brother, Charles (Kelly) Vincent; grandmother-in-law, Gladys Benedict; mother-in-law, Lorrie Capen; sisters-in-law, Jamie (Scott) Grinage and Lacey Capen; nieces and nephews, James Vincent, Alec & Josh Grinage, Jalyn Jackson, and Zach & Emily Vincent.

Dave was preceded in death by his grandparents, Russell & Anita Prueter and James & Alice Vincent; father, James Vincent; brother, J.C. Vincent; grandfather-in-law, Art Benedict; and father-in-law, John Capen.

Per Dave’s wishes cremation has taken place. Family and friends will have a private celebration of life at a later date. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Gramer Funeral Home / Oakland County Cremation, Clawson, MI.
