Elizabeth June Kadlec

In Memorial

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth June Kadlec, of Madison Heights, Michigan. Elizabeth died unexpectedly on October 7, 2022 from natural causes. She was only 62 years old.

Beth was an avid crafter and crocheter, often donating her work to a good cause or to friends and family. She was a long-time volunteer within the Lamphere Schools district and had also worked at the schools for a brief time. She especially loved working with the band organization and helped in any way she could while her daughters attended school.

She was also an enthusiastic sports fan for her home-town teams, the Cleveland Browns, Guardians, and Cavaliers, and carried on a spirit that was always present in her family and still is. Beth never lost the love for her hometown or its people and visited every chance she could get, but also showed fondness for the place of her residence.

Everyone who knew Beth knew her as a fair, hard-working, and highly motivated person with a spirited temper and a patient tolerance of others, a keen wit, and a great love for children and animals.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughters Crystal Garmon, Brianne Girao (nee Garmon), Hayley Kadlec, and Hanna Kadlec, her husband, Timothy Kadlec (Tim), mother, Rosemary Lee Yuncker (nee Carroll), brothers William (Bill), Bruce, and Brian Yuncker, her grandsons, Girard and Alexander Girao, and an abundance of friends. She is preceded in death by her late father, Francis Edward Yuncker. We will miss her more than words can say.

No services are planned at this time per Elizabeth’s request, but the family hopes to plan a celebration of her life sometime in the not-too-distant future.

The family asks that contributions in memory of Elizabeth June Kadlec be made to the World Wildlife Fund:
