Gary Wayne Middler, Age 61 March 6, 1957 – December 13, 2018
Gary passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family after his battle with cancer. Gary was passionate about his career as a machinist. He shared his love of hunting, fishing and the great outdoors with family and friends.
Loving father of daughter Angela and son Gordie (Liz) Middler. Survived by first wife, Beth Marlowe. Beloved husband of the late Sherry Middler. Dearest Papa to Christian, Anthony, Ava, Addison and Camden. Loving brother of Gordon (Mary) Middler and Gail (Alan) Weaver. Best friend and longtime roommate and caregiver Jerry Collins. Dear Uncle to Kyle, Corey and Andrew. Loving son to the late Don and Jean Middler. Gary loved his pets and is survived by his beloved dog Bodie. A memorial service will be held in the Spring. Memorial contributions can be made to Southeast Michigan Hospice.

    So very sorry to hear. I remember the fun days growing up on Moulin. The rabbit hutches…backyard camping…..and when Gordon an Gary rode from Madison heights to our cabin in Gladwin on ten speed bikes. Sending our sympathy to you and your family.

  8. I have so many memories of Gary and his siblings, growing up on Merrick. We camped together, played together, our Dads were in business together. May Gary rest in peace, and may his loved ones found peace and strength as days pass.

  13. For some reason, I miss you now more than ever dad. Sometimes while thinking back I get teary eyed and have many regrets. Gosh the things I would change or try and put right if you were still here…but there are times I smile too. I wish you could be here to see my life and how I was able to turn everything around for myself, but I hope that now you’re looking down on me proudly. I love you dad and miss you more than anyone could ever know 💞
