Jack Gibas

Jack Edward Gibas, of Commerce, MI, born December 2nd, 1943, passed away at age 77 on Wednesday, July 21st, 2021. Jack is survived by his loving wife Donna Gibas; Siblings William Gibas (Martha), Fred Gibas (Theresa), Mary Ann Kusterer (Kenneth); Much loved father of Jamie Gibas (Jennifer), Ryan Gibas (Brent), Wendy Jones (Michael); Grandfather to Arlen and Benjamin Silak, Lily, Ethan, Elena and Logan Jones, and Aleigha Gibas. Jack was born December 2nd, 1943, and was preceded in death by his father Francis Gibas, his mother Mary Gibas, and brother Robert Gibas (Brenda). Jack graduated from St. James Catholic High School, Bay City class of 62’, and received his mechanical engineering degree from Western Michigan University in 1968. Jack and Donna celebrated 50 years of marriage together September 5th, 2020. Jack loved spending time with family, will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

Please join us in a celebration of his life to be held Sunday, August 15th, 2021, 2pm at Grace Community Church, 3275 Martin Rd #129, Commerce Charter Twp., MI 48390, with a luncheon immediately following. Live streaming of the memorial service will be available for remote viewing at: https://youtu.be/9HaK-DBBOAE.  The service will be streamed live and then the video will be posted for at least a week afterwards for those unable to watch live.
