Jeffrey W. Campbell

On Sunday, August 23rd, Jeffrey (Jeff) Wayne Campbell passed away peacefully, with family, at St. Joseph Hospital, Pontiac. He was age 68 and for the last year, Jeff was at Clarkston Rehabilitation Facility where he was well cared for; prior to that he lived in Pontiac.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Clarke & Dolores Campbell. He is survived by his four children Jason (Tanya), Allison, David (Chelsea) and Joshua in addition to his sister Vickie Bellinger (George) and brother, Greg Campbell. Jeff has many cousins, nieces, and nephews as well as two grandchildren.
Jeff attended Bloomfield Lahser HS and then earned his Bachelors in Engineering from Lawrence Technical Institute. From a young age, Jeff was into electronics and always willing to help friends with their installs, fixes, etc. The majority of his career was spent in his own business, Structured Interface, Inc. (SII). He worked with multiple large companies to create and later manufacture various business solutions. Then he later moved into independent consulting for multiple businesses.
As to other activities, Jeff loved to be up at his cabin at Hubbard Lake, enjoying boating in some form, and ending the days there lowering the flag and sitting around the campfire ‘til the wee hours’. A tradition which is happily carried on by his children, as the third generation at the cabin. Lastly, there were very few years where Jeff didn’t have a dog sharing his life.
A kind and caring personal friend of Jeff’s is Ed Stull. Ed and his wife, are the founders of Pan Equus Animal Sanctuary (PEAS) in Oxford Michigan. They rescue large domestic animals, who have been neglected or suffered abuse. They provide a loving safe home to peacefully live out their final years. Anyone wishing to do something in memory of Jeff, please consider PEAS. Their address is 940 Hummer Rd Oxford, Michigan 48371 or you may learn more through their Facebook site or at peasbarn.org.
Per his wishes, Jeff’s ashes will be placed with his parents at White Chapel in Troy. This will be a private event due to COVID.
