Jill Louise Doty (nee Stapleton) born January 9th, 1981 passed away at 40 years old on March 9th, 2021. Beloved wife of Eric M. Doty, step-mom to Cade Cirillo and Kalli Hunter. Jill is survived by her loving mother Susan L. Stapleton, father Douglas M. Stapleton (deceased), Daughter in law to Judy Denyer and Mike Doty; Brother Paul Huth (Dayton, Ohio), Sister Michelle Alexander (Stapleton) Sister Holly Hatfield, Nieces Renee Corns and Lahona Hatfield, Nephew Joseph Hatfield and great nephew Carter Corns; Brothers BJ (Angela) Robinson and Keith (Amanda) Robinson of Florida. Jill was the beloved niece of Rocky and Roy Pinner of Florida, Debbie Jewell (dec’d), Jerry Wynkoop of Ohio and Bill (Charlotte) Wynkoop of Ohio. Jill has many more Aunts, Uncles and Cousins and a multitude of friends, a few she had known since early childhood whom she loved dearly. No matter who you were in Jill’s life she treated you as family or her very best friend.
After graduating from Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic High in 1999 Jill continued her academic studies graduating with a degree as a Dental Hygienist from Oakland Community College in 2001.
Along with her loving husband Eric, Jill spent hundreds of weekends with her nieces and nephews, enjoying good times and lots of laughter and spoiling them like crazy. She was kind, sweet and compassionate, always rooting for the underdog, always trying to help. Jill had a life-long love of all animals and cared for many pets over the course of her life, including but not limited to: hamsters, an Iguana named “Scales”, cats, a cockatiel, and of course, she and Eric’s dogs, Cyrus and Doja.
Jill was loving soul with a heart bigger than the world and will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to spend even a bit of time with her.

This is NOT goodbye, even though I refuse to accept you leaving, you’ve been my soul sis and I’m not sorry for not going to it. We know. I just am so happy that you and I talked and you were going to come see me but I had to tell you the truth( it wasn’t safe for you) I’m so glad we talked I just didn’t know it’d be the last words on earth that we spoke to each other. We told each other our I love you’s but it was best to stay apart…. I just didn’t think you’d leave me baby! You’ve been my friend since we were 3 yrs old sweetheart I know you in and out! I just don’t know what happened. Does it matter, nothing changes that you aren’t here but I know you are in my heart!
