1965 ~ 2017
Mark was 52, passed away November 12, 2017. He had an easy going personality that put people at ease. He was the life of the party, and his stories and jokes always got laughs and smiles.
He had a passion for homeless animals which inspired him to start his own “Hope Rescue” that he ran with dedication and love. He was very close to his family and loved them dearly, including his dog “Bella”. He loved spending time with friends, including annual trips to Tawas and Saugatuck.
He enjoyed planting, gardening, reading and bowling on his weekly Friday night league. Mark lived life to the fullest, had a heart of gold and a smile that could light up any room. He will be sorely missed by many, and remembered for his tireless work for his animal rescue, and dedication to family and friends.
He is survived by his loving parents Donna & Bob, brother and sisters: Robin, Kelly and Michael, step sister and brother: Lori and Bob, brother in laws: Brent and Angelo, nieces and nephew: Mariah, Miranda and Chris, lifelong friend: Maureen, aunts: Bonnie, Lori, and Carrie and many other loving uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews who all loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Ralph and Caroline; his aunt Carol, his uncles: Clifton and David; and cousin Tracy.
Memorial Service: Tuesday, November 28, 11:00 AM Maple Grove Bible Church, 2020 15 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI. Lunch will be served immediately following the service. Urn placement in a niche at Roselawn Cemetery on Woodward in Berkley at 3pm.
