Michael was a visionary who was led by a relentless work ethic to take a design from concept to completion. Over 53 years in the residential and commercial construction industry Mike’s accomplishments are immeasurable. Shortly after graduating from Upper Arlington HS in Columbus OH, he began his career as a rough carpenter framing residential homes followed by several years of design & build finish carpentry work on residential/commercial remodeling projects including custom cabinet manufacturing. In 1988 he began working as a project manager for a local commercial contractor and led several successful projects including Star Theatre and Word of Faith Sanctuary (Southfield), Medical Science Cyclotron and Ray Fisher Baseball Stadium (Ann Arbor).

Michael had many interests outside of work including continuous care to his own home which he built with his wife, working in the garden, sunset boat cruises on Union Lake, twilight golfing, Ohio State football and of course he couldn’t get enough of his classic Rock n’ Roll music with numerous live concerts including some of his favorites Bob Segar, Tom Petty, Woodstock 1969’ and 1999’.

A celebration of life will be held in the spring.
