Norman D’Angelo

Norman D’Angelo, age 76, passed away peacefully at his home in Milford, Michigan on April 14, 2019. Norm was preceded in death by his wife Kathie in 2013. He will be missed by his daughters, Laura (Pat) Iaquinto, Christine (Dave) Diatikar, his son, Michael, his grandchildren, Ali, Marley, Joe, and Kyra. Also, his sister, Flavia, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Norm grew up in Detroit, Michigan. He served honorably in the US Air Force. He also worked for Ford Motor Company and the Detroit Free Press. He was always known as a hard worker and loved to help others, until he was paralyzed during a medical procedure in June, 1988. Norm survived almost 31 years as a quadriplegic. The family would like to express their appreciation to all the people that helped Norm through the years.

Cremation has taken place. Norm and Kathie will be interred together at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI, date to be determined. A memorial luncheon is planned for Thursday, April 18th, at Baker’s of Milford, 2025 S. Milford Road, Milford, MI 48381 (banquet entrance). Memorial Remembrance starting at 11 am. Lunch will be served at Noon.
