Vivian Muriel McLellan passed away on May 7, 2019, at 93 years of age. Vivian was born on June 7, 1925 in Detroit, Michigan to Earl and Mary Bartsch. She married Robert James McLellan. Together they had three children, Dennis, Lynn and Kimberly.
Vivian was a feisty, independent woman ahead of her time. She served a 37-year career with the U.S. Tank-Automotive Command and Missile Plants. Vivian actively pursued her lifelong passion for travel, visiting 6 continents and savoring the sun and sand at the beaches of Lake Huron and Florida. Vivian relished time spent with her family and friends and loved hosting holiday celebrations. She will be missed.
Vivian is predeceased by her parents Earl and Mary Bartsch, her husband Robert McLellan and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She is survived by her son Dennis (Karen) McLellan, daughters Lynn (Jeffrey) Krauss, and Kimberly McLellan Piwinski, grandchildren Kathryn (Joseph) Krauss-Schikora, Daniel (Brianna) Krauss, Austin Piwinski, Brandon Piwinski and Trentin Piwinski, great granddaughters Kora and Evelyn, and beloved cousin Ronald Young.
A celebration of Vivian’s life is planned for family and close friends on June 7th.
