Darryl Hargrave-Thomas, passed away at Beaumont hospital on August 4th, 2021 after a short illness.
Darryl was born May 6th, 1953 in Detroit, Michigan to John Nevill and Joyce Hargrave-Thomas as the fourth of eleven children. Darryl loved his big boisterous family, especially his three grandchildren and his dog Ruby. He couldn’t always visit his grandkids as often as he liked but he stayed in touch with fun video chats.
He will be remembered for his hand-crafted gourmet espresso drinks, beautiful restoration of his ‘65 Chevelle, and his larger than life stories.
Darryl is survived by his two daughters Meghan Baronowski and Emily Tosio, their spouses, and three grand children, John David, Douglas Owen (Baronowski), and Juniper Rae (Tosio), as well as his ex-wife Pamela Jones, and 8 siblings. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Nevill and sister Clare.
