George Spencer Blackmore of Clawson, MI died died February 19, 2018 at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. He was 59 years old.
George was born July 29, 1958 in Detroit, Michigan to George J and Helen (Briggs) Blackmore. At the age of 15 he began his culinary career. He loved to cook, play baseball and most of all music. As a teenager, George began to play the drums. Later in life he began to play guitar. He loved to sing at karaoke. He married his wife Denise in 1980 and they had a son, George, in 1985. He was so proud of his son and his accomplishments in life from watching him become an Eagle Scout, graduating from college and law school.
George lived by the motto live your life to the fullest because you never know if it will be your last day. He certainly did that in his life. He was always a happy, laid back kind of guy who wanted everyone to live life, be happy and “rock on”!
A Celebration of George’s life will be held Sunday, March 11, 2018 2pm-5pm at the Clawson/Troy Elks Lodge, 2549 Elliott Dr, Troy, MI 48083.
