Janice Elaine Morrison

Janice E. Morrison, 68, of Royal Oak, died peacefully, surrounded by her family, at 10:35 pm,Wednesday, October 18, 2017 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was a beloved mother to her daughters, Kelly and Andrea, and a loving “GG” to her seven grandchildren, Ethan, Connor, Samantha (Cupcake), Charlotte, Esther, Andrew, and Abigail.
Janice spent her entire life helping others. She devoted 30 plus years as a skilled and compassionate respiratory therapist who will be remembered for her infectious energy and spunk. However, the role she cherished most in life was in her family. She devoted her life to her daughters and their families. GG adored her grand babies and loved to spoil them all.
Janice was the most energetic and selfless woman you will ever know. Always kind and generous, she lit up every room she walked into and made sure everyone around her knew how much she loved them. Our hearts are broken but she is forever in our hearts.
Janice wouldn’t want us to be sad, it wasn’t her style. She didn’t want a funeral with tears and mourning. Instead she would like us to have a party in her memory and come together with love and companionship. Please join her daughters as they host a party for their mom on, November 4. 2017, at Farina’s in Berkley, MI. from 5-9 pm. In lieu of flowers or cards, please use those funds to have an adventure with the ones you love most. This is what Janice would want.

“Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.”
