Ms. Kathryn (Kathy) Mary Muirhead Ciampichini, daughter of William Muirhead and Betty Muirhead was born October 30, 1959 in Highland Park, Michigan, passed away after a brave and hard fought battle with cancer at the age of 56 at her home in Royal Oak.
She will be greatly missed and forever loved by her family. Kathy was a beautiful, caring, and loving mother to her daughter Melissa Ciampichini and her son Jeffrey (Jeff) Ciampichini. Kathy is also survived by her mother Betty Muirhead, her siblings William Muirhead and Carrie Hobusch, as well as her nephews Austin Hobusch, Keith Muirhead and Randy Sutherland. She will also be missed by her most loyal and best friend Tinkerbell.
Kathy worked at Costco for 18 years where she was loved and respected. She had a love for needle work, crocheting many wonderful afghans, scarves, and Halloween costumes for her children with her own hands. Kathy also had a love for cooking. She always looked forward to the holidays where she would prepare many dishes for all to eat.
