Lawrence Owen Teague

Obituary for Lawrence Owen Teague
02-29-1944 to 04/19/2020
Remember Me
Don’t remember me with sadness, Don’t remember me with tears,
Remember all the laughter as I was one of the biggest instigators and jokesters.
Now I am contented that my life was worth while as I was blessed with with the love of my life and married to Patricia Teague for 58 years! She gave me two beautiful daughters Sherry and Terry who predeceased me, as well as my Grandson Larry Dunne (Sherry) who I raised as my own since the age of four. Additionally, two incredible granddaughters Christina Crawford (Tivis), and Jamie Thompson.
I was also thrilled with three great grand children (Christina) Tivis and Trevor as well as (Larry) Caroline .
I was born to Mildred (Millie) Nettles and Alfred Teague also predeceased.
I became an Army man and devoted family man. When I left the Army I began working at Chrysler as a foreman. Later, I also worked at Zimmerman. I became my own business owner of All Tune and Lube at the end of my working career before retirement.

During my life I have also been survived on my mothers side by my sister Barbara Shimoura (Brian), and brother Henry C. Burke (Dawn) with nephews Brian and Kyle Burke. Also, my step father Henry W. Burke was also a big part of my life.
I was happy to meet and continue to become close to my brother and sister from my fathers side Al Teague (Beverly) as well as his twin sister Peggy.

My wife Patricia and I have been active members of the Eagles Club for many years where we enjoyed socializing with our fellow friends who have been very important in our lives. I was very well known by all of them and especially enjoyed my friendship with bartender Melanie for over 20 years.
I was lucky to be loved by so many people including my wife, family, work colleagues, friends from the Eagles Club , and my dog Rebel who was the best dog in the world.
I was hospitalized with coronovirus at the end of March. However, despite my strongest efforts, I died on 04/19/2020 from its complications.
“To all who loved me know this:
When you are walking down the street and you have me on your mind,
I’m walking in your footsteps only a half a step behind.
So please don’t be unhappy just because I am out of sight,
Remember I am with you always day and night.”
