Ferguson, Margaret Age 81, formerly of Ferndale MI, passed away on June 17, 2018. She was preceded in death by her sister Nora Vallance and brother-in-law Jim Vallance. Margaret is survived by her brother Bill (Marge) Halls, her 5 children, Doug (Kim), Jeff (Jeanine), Cindy, Scott, and Michael. She was a proud grandma to 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Aunt Maggie was always the “fun aunt” to many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Margaret was an avid Lions fan; loved her soap operas and musicals; proudly showed her Scottish spirit at the Scottish Festival in Livonia; and always enjoyed lunch with the girls from her former employer, Handleman. She was gracious to everyone she met and we all enjoyed her sense of humor. We will miss her Pecan Pie, a recipe imitated but never quite matched as proven by the infamous Thanksgiving Day Pecan Pie taste off.
A small memorial service for family will take place at a future date. Margaret was a big animal lover so any donations can be made to your local animal shelter.

So sorry to hear about Maggie’s passing. I worked with her for years at Handleman. She was always so kind. I loved her oatmeal raisin cookies, still use her recipe.
